The T38 Observatory is a popular sightseeing attraction which is located immediately above the hotel on the top floor of the JR Tower skyscraper.

This hotel has 342 guestrooms located between the 23rd and 34th floors. The room interiors are simple and stylish with wide windows looking out over the city view. There are standard single, double, and twin bedrooms between the 23rd and 30th floors. The executive rooms with twin and double beds and executive suites are located between 31st and 34th floors. Executive Floor benefits include vouchers for breakfast and the hotel spa and the later check out time of 12.00 noon (usually 11.00). Universal rooms which are wheelchair accessible are also available.

All rooms are supplied with a combined air-conditioner and heater, a refrigerator, a mini-bar, a TV with satellite channels, a safety deposit box, an air purifier, a trouser press, a stationary set, an electric kettle with tea making facilities, nightwear and slippers. Bathrooms are fitted with a bath and shower and are provided with a full set of towels and amenities such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush sets, cotton buds, razors, hair brushes, and a deodorizing spray for your clothes.
Wired and wireless internet access is provided in all the guest rooms.
All guest rooms are completely non-smoking.
This hotel has two restaurants on the 35th floor: Restaurant & Bar SKY J and Sky Restaurant Tancho. Both locations offer the chance to dine while enjoying the superb city view from 150 meters above ground.
Sky J serves buffet lunches with a wide variety of Western and Chinese dishes and French style course meals for dinner. The bar is stocked with wine and whiskey from Hokkaido, and serves a wide range of cocktails.
Tancho serves traditional Japanese cuisine featuring freshly sourced Hokkaido ingredients. Lunchtime sets and course meals for both lunch and dinner are available.
Breakfast is available at both the Sky J and Tancho restaurants. At Sky J a buffet breakfast with both Western and Japanese dishes is available between 6.30 and 10.00 (last entry at 9.30). The breakfast fee is 3,080 yen for adults and 1,400 yen for children of elementary school age.
At Tancho a set meal of traditional Japanese dishes served with rice and miso soup is available or you can have a fresh seafood rice bowl. Breakfast is served here between 7.00 and 10.00 (last orders at 9.30) and the breakfast fee is 3,080 yen per person.
In addition to these two restaurants there is a comfortable Lobby Lounge by the 1st floor entrance to the hotel where you can enjoy tea, coffee, beer, champagne, wine, whisky, snacks, cakes, and light meals such as soup, spaghetti, and curry.
Mikuni is an elegant French restaurant on the 9th floor of the Stellar Place department store which is also affiliated with this hotel. Here you can enjoy course meals for lunch and dinner. However, this restaurant is in a different part of the station building and must be accessed via the Center I Elevator in the central wing of Stellar Place.
Room Service is also available between 19.30 and 22.30.
Some reception staff at this hotel can speak English, Korean and Chinese. They can also offer guests foreign-language sightseeing brochures, and maps. Check-in time is at 15.00 and check-out time is at 11:00. Luggage can be left with the Bell Captain before checking in and after checking out.

Baby cribs can be rented for 1,540 yen per night.
The 1st floor lobby has an Automatic Foreign Exchange Machine which is available 24 hours a day and this can change the currencies of America, Europe, Taiwan, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, and Korea.
There is a PC corner in the 1st floor lobby with a computer and printer. Guests can access the internet here for 100 yen per 10 minutes.
There is an Indonesian style spa resort on the 22nd floor called Pulau Bulan. This spa has natural hot spring bathing facilities, a jacuzzi, and various saunas and offers massage, aromatherapy, and body scrub services. The spa also features a café, beauty salon, and hair salon.
In-room massage services can be ordered between 15.00 and 1.00 am.
The 36th floor of the hotel is occupied by banquet rooms for large events and conferences.
Smoking is not permitted in the guest rooms or public areas of this hotel. However, there is a smoking booth in the foyer of the restaurant floor on the 35th floor which can be used during the restaurant opening hours.
JR Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo occupies floors 22 to 36 of the JR Tower skyscraper and is directly connected to JR Sapporo Station. The hotel entrance is on the 1st floor of the station building on its south-east side and is located between the Stellar Place and Esta department stores.
